Smoking and Bone Healing

Although many of the negative effects of cigarette smoking are widely known by the general public, its effects on bone healing are not realized by many. If you have a fracture and smoke, your fracture has given you the perfect reason to quit smoking. It is highly recommended to avoid smoking while recovering from a fracture.
